Adam Lewis cycling Coach

Adam discovered cycling later than most, taking up the sport in his final years as a youth rider. He quickly developed a passion for racing with Wolverhampton Wheelers, achieving impressive results at the junior level both domestically and abroad. Determined to push his limits, he made the bold move to Belgium as a first-year U23, diving headfirst into the fiercely competitive world of Elite Belgian club racing. His early seasons were a steep learning curve, filled with both challenges and breakthroughs.

Perseverance paid off, and Adam began climbing the ranks of the Belgian amateur scene, securing multiple victories and podiums in the renowned kermesse races. His strong performances earned him a step up to UCI-level racing in 2018 with T Palm Pole Continental Walloon, where he competed against world-class opposition in Belgian semi-classics. This led to two seasons with Dutch UCI Continental team BEAT Cycling, further solidifying his place in the pro ranks.

In 2021, Adam embraced a new challenge, joining one of France’s top DN1 teams, Côtes d’Armor Cyclisme. Based in Brittany, he raced across France, delivering standout performances on varied terrain. During this time, he also completed his ABCC coaching qualification, further expanding his expertise.

Returning to the UK in 2022, Adam signed with Saint Piran and made his debut in the Tour of Britain, where he was awarded the most combative rider on stage two. He continued to excel on home soil in 2023, securing podium finishes at the Ryedale GP, a fourth-place finish at Ilkley GP, and strong results at the National B level. In 2024, he reached new heights with American UCI team Skyline, earning multiple top results in UCI races around the globe.

Alongside his racing career, Adam has dedicated himself to coaching, helping cyclists at all levels progress in the sport. With years of firsthand experience, he brings deep knowledge of race tactics, technical skills, nutrition, and training, equipping riders with the tools to maximize their potential—whether they’re newcomers or aspiring professionals.
