RideRevolution is proud to partner with Professional Long Distance Triathlete Kieran Lindars to try to help develop and hone his obvious natural talent.
He competed in his first Pro Long Distance Triathlon in Almere, Netherlands, at the European Long Distance Championships in September 2019. He had to complete the 3.8km swim, 180km bike and 42.2km run to reach the finish of his first ever Pro Long Distance, which he did in style. Exiting the swim in first place, a minute and half ahead of the rest of the field and settling well into the bike leg, he even completed the Marathon run in under 3 hours (2:52:33). In the end he would finish in 6th place which is a tremendous effort and shows just what you can achieve when you put your mind to it.
In 2020 he took part in the PTO World Middle Distance Championships, which just being able to compete in is an achievement in itself! Finishing 6th Brit is also something to write home about when you’re competing against people like the Brownlee brothers.
Along the way he’s been putting together some really informative guides and tips to help others become better Triathletes, you can check them out here: https://www.challenge-family.com/news/category/ambassadors/kieran-lindars/
With his amazing ability in the water we’re hoping that we can really help with the riding part of his Triathlons, but we’ll also be on hand should he require help for the run as we move towards offering proper Multisport coaching. Keep an eye out for the launch of our Multisport packages in the near future.
